Photographer's Statement
A native New Mexican, I have lived in Las Cruces since 1953. In high school I became interested in photography and took my first sunset photos.
My interest is in outdoor and scenic images although I have won ribbons for my portrait and still life images as well as landscapes.
As my skills developed so did my love of the local scenery, especially the Organ Mountains. I am particularly proud of my triptychs and panoramic images.
I feel these better show the expanse of the Organ Mountains, White Sands and the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge (my favorite haunts).
My love of the area and its natural beauty is evident in my work which I love to share with everyone!
